"I didn't set out to build a traditional esthetics practice. I set out to understand the body's intelligence—and the skin turned out to be the exact place where structural bodywork, fascia, and holistic healing converge."
My path into the beauty industry started in cosmetology, but I quickly realized my true calling lay beneath the surface. When I discovered esthetics, something profound shifted. It wasn't just about skincare; it was about the tangible, emotional relief my clients felt after our sessions. That connection—the power of intentional touch—was all the confirmation I needed. I leaned in and became a licensed master esthetician.
But my journey wasn't perfectly linear. Even though I have been practicing since 2014, I frequently found myself at odds with traditional esthetics. The beauty industry is largely built on pointing out our 'flaws' and urging us to correct them through cosmetic interventions, surgeries, or endless topical products. That framing never sat right with me. I came to realize that what the industry calls a flaw is actually a biological signal. When we only focus on correcting the surface, we completely miss the opportunity to connect with the body and understand what those messages are actually trying to tell the individual.
That shift in perspective is what led me to open Altru Radiance in 2023. Originally founded in Salt Lake City and now rooted in Murray, Utah, I knew exactly what I needed to build: an education-based regenerative skin clinic. I wanted to create a space where you don't just have a service performed on you, but where you leave deeply understanding your own biology. The skin is a brilliant, interconnected system. Once we start working with its natural mechanisms—addressing fascia, structural tension, and internal health—it becomes remarkably capable of healing itself.
Long before I had the clinical language for it, I could feel it. Working on faces over the years, I noticed areas that felt profoundly different—tissues that seemed held, constricted, and resistant. Emotional and physical stress gets trapped in the face. I didn't initially have a structural framework, but I knew my clients felt deeply relieved after our sessions, and that something was happening beneath the surface that went far beyond what any topical product could achieve.
Discovering fascia tied everything together. Fascia is the continuous web of connective tissue that encases every structure in the body, supporting every system, movement, and expression. When I realized the face is a dynamic architectural system shaped by this tissue—rather than just a collection of isolated muscles and skin—my entire approach to esthetics shifted. Releasing this tension doesn't just feel good; it fundamentally changes the structure, lift, and vitality of the face.
I knew early on that my work was never going to be conventional. What I practice at Altru Radiance is an advanced structural approach—incorporating targeted facial massage and lymphatic support—that works with the body's intelligence rather than overriding it. It is intentional, regenerative bodywork for the face, rooted in the belief that your true radiance reflects far more than just your skincare routine.
Beauty is more than your appearance.
It is a signal — from every biological system working in concert.

Growing up as a first-generation American in a traditional Vietnamese household shaped how I understood health long before I had clinical language for it. We were, by nature, a holistic spiritual household. Food, medicinal oils, herbs, and traditional healing practices were the first response to anything the body communicated. Medical intervention came only after we had exhausted natural therapies for non-acute issues. That framework never left me.
As a child, I navigated severe, full-body psoriasis outbreaks. My legs bore the brunt of it—so much so that 'Scabby Legs' became my enduring nickname. What healed me wasn't a single product or prescription. It was recognizing that lifestyle, diet, and energy management were deeply interconnected, and that my skin was reflecting the state of those systems. Learning to work with my body rather than against it was how I found relief — and also how I began to see the bigger picture.
That early experience informs every regenerative facial and bodywork session I perform today. The skin is our armor. It provides protection and is constantly communicating, and my role as a practitioner is to help you decode what it is saying—creating the structural and internal conditions where your skin can naturally reorganize itself toward lasting health.
The holistic principles I bring into the treatment room are not separate from how I live my life. Structural awareness, nervous system regulation, and intentional daily habits are practices I return to consistently. Not because they are industry trends, but because I have experienced firsthand the profound shift that happens when you truly listen to what your body is communicating.
My senior husky, Roman, keeps me grounded. My daily routines keep me present. Everything I ask a client to be mindful of—whether it is structural alignment, breathwork, or grounding—I am actively practicing myself.
Every session begins with listening. Book your first appointment, or send me a note through contact — I’ll help you find the right starting point.
